The Discovery Center is such a cool place and great weekend activity on a budget!

It's a mix of children's museums and play centre, which makes it interesting for toddlers as for older kids.

The entry fee is unbeatable: kids aged 1 to 12 pay 5 dhs, teens and adults 10 dhs (bring cash!) for the whole day. Not crowded, good for families with older kids and a baby because you can take your stroller inside and it opens at 8 am which is great for people like us whose kids wake up at 5:30 every morning 😅😂 And there are benches EVERYWHERE so you can sit and watch your kids, if only I had known this when I was pregnant with my second and we literally lived in play areas! It took us 34 minutes to get there from The Springs so basically not much more than a trip to the mall with busy parking! The only thing we didn't like is the chemical smell of the water in the water play area but I guess they have to keep it clean somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️
