A not-so-hidden-gem worth mentioning is Book Hero near Umm Suqeim Park.

It is an amazing little book store and coffee shop! Prices start from 10 dhs and the view on Burj Al Arab is hard to beat. 📚✨

They are one of thew few remaining local bookshops with a purpose. Over the years they have financed some social activities within the community from helping students and families in the UAE to cat sterilisation campaigns.

They have several other branches across town but unfortunately some of them are closing down by the end of this month so you better hurry- Arabian Ranches 1&2, Marina Walk and Greens Souk will be gone soon!
