Free screenings by EHS (Emirates Health Services)

Emirates Health Services, represented by Saqr Hospital, in partnership with the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), has relaunched its breast cancer awareness campaign at Saqr Hospital. Operating under the theme “Initiate Action, Receive Hope,” the initiative offers free screenings for women aged 40 and above, through mobile clinics equipped with mammography and ultrasound technology. The campaign will continue until November 26, 2024.

Mobile clinics

The FOCP's (Friends of Cancer Patients) breast cancer campaign will host another caravan nationwide this year, offering free screenings for breast cancer detection, wellness programs and many more.

Listed below are dates and locations for mobile clinic Pink-tober free breast cancer screenings.

1. Gargash Hospital

In partnership with Being She, is hosting the "Future is Her" event on October 5th, 2024. They will offer free ultrasound and mammograms to raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection. The event will run from 10 am to 6 pm, and women can also sign up for a gynecological checkup and get free screening vouchers, valid for the whole month of October.

Different health scans will be available for women of all ages, including special scans for those under 40 and over 40, ensuring complete care for everyone.

2. NMC Healthcare

50% discount on Mammograms

To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NMC Healthcare is giving a 50% discount on mammograms for women aged 40 and above. This offer is meant to help with early detection and prevention of breast cancer. During October, eligible women can also get a free consultation with an NMC doctor along with the discounted mammogram, giving them the tests and advice they need to check their breast health.
